These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Practix, operated by Practixhub (Joshi Enterprises), a sole proprietorship in Ajmer, Rajasthan. By using Practix you agree to these Terms, which are governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Section 01
About Practix

Practix is a SaaS-based legal technology marketplace and practice management platform operated by Practixhub, owned and managed by Joshi Enterprises (“we”, “us”, or “the Company”).

Practix is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or any legal services. All legal services on the platform are provided exclusively by independent, Bar Council-registered legal professionals. We act solely as a technology intermediary under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Section 02
Eligibility
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a citizen or resident of India, or a legal entity incorporated in India
  • Have legal capacity to enter binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • Not be barred from using online services under any applicable Indian law

Lawyers must additionally hold a valid Certificate of Practice from the relevant State Bar Council and be in good standing with the Bar Council of India.

Section 03
Registration & Account Security

You must provide accurate, current information during registration and agree to:

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access at founder@practixhub.com
  • Not share credentials with any third party
  • Not create multiple accounts for the same individual or entity
  • Keep profile information accurate and up to date

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in prohibited conduct.

Section 04
Lawyer Obligations
  • Maintain a valid, active Bar Council enrolment throughout platform use
  • Provide services in compliance with Bar Council of India Rules and professional ethics
  • Not engage in fee-splitting, touting, or conduct prohibited under the Advocates Act, 1961
  • Maintain client confidentiality per professional obligations
  • Accurately represent qualifications, experience, and areas of practice
  • Honour confirmed appointments and respond to enquiries within reasonable timeframes
  • Issue proper fee receipts and maintain GST compliance where applicable
Section 05
Client Obligations
  • Provide accurate and complete information when seeking legal assistance
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes
  • Treat lawyers with professional respect; no harassment or abusive behaviour
  • Pay agreed fees promptly through the platform’s payment system
  • Not contact lawyers outside the platform to circumvent platform fees during an active Practix engagement
  • Not record consultations without the lawyer’s explicit consent
Section 06
Subscriptions & Payments

Practix offers paid plans: Standard  ₹499/month, Advance  ₹999/month, Premium  ₹1,999/month. All prices exclude applicable GST.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
  • By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method.
  • We may modify pricing with 30 days’ prior notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as specified in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • GST invoices are issued for all subscription payments.
Section 07
Marketplace Transactions
  • Practix acts as a payment facilitator and technology intermediary — not as a party to the legal services agreement.
  • The legal services contract is formed directly between the client and the respective lawyer.
  • Practix charges a platform commission deducted from the lawyer’s payout.
  • Payments are held in escrow and released upon confirmed service delivery or agreed milestones.
  • Service quality disputes are between the client and lawyer. Practix may provide mediation but is not liable for outcomes.
Section 08
Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Practix to:

  • Violate any applicable Indian law, regulation, or professional ethics rule
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Impersonate any person, entity, or lawyer
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Scrape or extract platform data without written consent
  • Circumvent or interfere with platform security features
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, or financial crime
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate any user
  • Violate the Advocates Act, 1961 or Bar Council of India Rules

Violations may result in immediate suspension, termination, and referral to relevant authorities.

Section 09
Intellectual Property

All content on Practix — including “Practix”, “Practixhub”, logos, design, software, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of Joshi Enterprises, protected under Indian IP laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any platform content without express written consent.

By posting content on the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content solely for operating and improving the platform.

Section 10
Disclaimers

Practix is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that lawyer information is accurate or current, or that any legal service will produce a desired outcome. We do not endorse or guarantee the qualifications of any listed lawyer.

Section 11
Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Joshi Enterprises (Practixhub) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, legal service outcomes, or unauthorised data access. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Practix in the 3 months preceding the event.

Section 12
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Parties agree to 30 days of good-faith negotiation before litigation. Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
